In class we worked on coming up with 7-10 questions to ask our P.E teacher, Mentz. The questions will be checked off by Mrs. Newman. We will be meeting with him and asking him if it is all right if we can record the interview. Hopefully he has no problem with that. After recording Mr. Mentz, we will be uploading the interview to our blog.

Due to the fact that our projects have to be done by May 11th, and we originally had the event planned for May 13, we have to change our event to May 6th. We will have to inform everyone that the date has changed. That means we have less time to get everything ready!!! Not that it isn't possible but yeah, it does make a difference.

Hector and I are planning to go to Wheeler elementary and talk to some teachers if they can help us with this event. We will need some equipment and some input on our ideas. If some teachers can help us by volunteering to chaperon some of the game that will be played, that will be perfect. We will also need donations of water bottles. Summer is approaching and the heat is getting stronger and the last thing we want it for someone to get dehydrated.

We will be providing with what we can. I have a couple soccer balls and a basketball. I can get a case of 24 pack of waters. We hope that we can make this day a success.

All the posters have been done and the flyers have been sent out. What we are now trying to do is, figure out is how the scheduled will look like for that day. We want all the kids to at least try every sport we have set up. At the end of the event we want to show these kids a brief presentation about drugs. The affects that drugs have on the body and how it influences peoples life.

We were wondering how we want to approach the presentation. There is information we can get online and use it in our presentation.

During the week hector came up with the design of the flyers. He also printed some out, we are ready to hand them out. As far as the posters, I am working on them. And for the location, we have decided to do the even at the same school rather than going to a public park. The reason being is that we would have to get parents signatures in order for thier students to leave campus. We just thought is would be easier to deal with by having it at the school.

So finally we came up with what to put on the poster. We have one poster finished and are going to be making more so we can begin to hang then around. We have also decided the day we want this event to take place. Although, we are still not sure where this event will take place. The posters will be done soon, now we have to make the flyers and hand them out.

Today in class we discussed how we were going to make the flyers. Are we going to make them similar to the posters or a little different. We also discussed what a location was more convenient for us and the kids. Hector will be in charge of making the flyers while I am in charge of making more posters. Next week we hope to be decided on a location for the event.
